"Da Blackhole" started in the minds of Jamal Jamerson and Ernest Fortune. Both are from Milwaukee Wisconsin, and met on the north side of the city. They bother were amazed at how they shared the same taste in music. Their music is defined as "Rap Fusion Soul," which is a new genre for the music world. The groups sound appeals to all ages and demographics from Hardcore Rap & Hiphop, to R&B Soul and Funk. Da Blackhole were influenced by "Scarface," "A Tribe Called Quest," "2 Pac," and "Curtis Mayfield." The group tries not to confine their sound. Da Blackhole released their first debut CD "2 Side 2 Every Story" in Febuary 2007.

The group’s next project will be a DVD documentary. It will feature new music as well as other artist they tour with. It promises to be a creative and entertaining DVD. The DVD has a late summer of 2007 release data. In closing, the group feels that nothing can stop them. . . . . .as long as they put God first. In life they have both seen and done things they wish they could reverse, but in music. . . .time stands still and music heals.
